Oh, hey!

So I still have this blog, huh? I kind of decided a while ago that I would start to write more when we moved. Because of course you always think that in the future you will have more time to do everything, right? "Once I'm a stay at home mom THEN I will work out every day and make really good dinners and always have a clean house." The point is, while I will become a stay at home mom in a couple of months, until then I am actually just a stay at home WIFE, which I think is shaping up to be a pretty good gig.

So here's the deal, in case anyone still read this blog, or (even less likely) anyone who reads this is only getting their info about me from here, and not Facebook or Instagram--we have moved from Provo to Lewiston, Idaho. I had never heard of it either, but turns out it's a nice little town. It is small, but not too small (there's a Costco, so life is just fine), and so far everyone here has been super friendly and nice. Chris got a job as a pharmacist, and we have a cute little brand new house.

And oh yes, we are having a baby. Due September 11th, a baby girl, which we could not be more thrilled about. No offense to all the boys out there, but we were both going to feel a little disappointed if it was a boy.

So, all in one summer, we moved out of the house we lived in for nearly four years, I stopped working, Chris graduated, we moved to another state (keep in mind that I have lived in the same city my ENTIRE LIFE), built and bought a house, Chris is starting a new job, and we are having a baby. I honestly don't think I could handle any more life changes than that, so hopefully this is everything. A sentimental, doesn't-deal-well-with-change sort of girl like me can only handle so much.

What I'm really getting at is this--I just have a lot of feelings these days. (She doesn't even go here!) And I think writing them down will be good. I'm already positive that someday when I'm not pregnant (or nursing, because I hear that's just as bad if not worse) and not all emo Erin all the time, I will read back on some of these feeling filled posts and roll my eyes. But you know. YOLO.

Along with all my feelings about moving and changes and FEELINGS, I want to really document our new life here. Getting to know our new town, decorating our new house, decorating our new baby, losing the weight that came with the baby--stuff like that. So. We'll be in touch.
