Illusion vs reality

So I'm assuming most of us have seen this around the internet at some time or another, right?

But has it ever happened to you in real life? My mom and I ran a relay together last week,
and when I got the pictures from it in my email, I could not stop laughing.
Because although I feel like my mom when I run:

Unfortunately, I actually look like this:

In my defense, the fleece headband and the jacket around the waist are not a good look for anyone.
But in my offense, DAYUM, girl.

I'm pretty sure you would look better running than I would any day of the week. But I really do like your picture comparisons. Makes me happy. :)

Haha, this made me laugh! All that matters is how you feel anyway...at least that's what I think :).

Can I first ask why you are posting this gem at 5:11am? Go to sleep girl! But this is so funny, I wish I was your mom too :)

You crack me up!!! I am now crying...I love it! Way to be brave and post it. On Easter morning I was wearing a sweatshirt and Andrew took some pictures of me, and I looked so nasty I deleted them.

I don't see the difference in the two runners, they both look great! And isn't that you running behind your mom in the first pic? You must've kicked some serious butt!
