We got married so now I'm blogging about it

So, we had an anniversary last month. And it was fun. Chris was sick and we didn't have a lot of spending cash, but we spent the whole weekend hanging out and it was way fun. So. . . win win. We got to hang out lots on Saturday, Sunday, AND Monday, because Martin Luther King Day was so accommodating and decided to be on our anniversary. Thanks!

On our actual day of marriage we slept in, had breakfast at Magleby's Fresh, then I went to the gym while Chris got a haircut. While at the gym my mom called me and said she wanted to buy us groceries at Costco as an anniversary gift. FUN! We love Costco! So we went and met my mom and Char there and had lots of fun at Costco. Then we went home, and had to reorganize all our food to fit our new Costco things, which was fun. We got ready, and went to a matinee of True Grit. It was good stuff. Then we went to dinner at Carrabba's, one of our favorite places, and of course we had to get dessert. Came home, played Trivial Pursuit, and went to bed. So nothing super crazy or whatever, but you know, it was really really fun. I can't really do a good job of conveying why it was fun, it just was.

Anyway, here's a pic of us at the restaurant celebrating that it's our 3 year anniversary. Chris started this tradition the first year we got married by insisting we hold up a "We're #1!" finger.

January 17, 2011. Carrabba's, Orem. 3 years.

January 17, 2010. Hard Rock Cafe, Washington DC. 2 years.

January 17, 2009. The kitchen in the cabin, Fairview. 1 year.

And yes, we have discussed what we'll do when we get past 10 years. It will be tough, but we'll figure something out.

10-20 will be a EASY. You've got 20 fingers between both of you. It's after twenty that you should be really worried about.
