One Year Ago Today . . .

-I went with my sister, my mom, and my almost sister- and mother-in-law to get manicures and pedicures

-I packed up a little red bag with a veil, a pretty comb, several varieties of lip gloss--the essentials

-I went to Clark's Tuxedos with Chris to pick up the boys' suits

-I checked my temple bag a million times to make sure I had my recommend and all the other necessities

-I called the girls that did my hair and makeup to confirm our 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. meetings

-I gathered up 10 or so pretty framed pictures, little boxes filled with treats, and a book to sign, then drove them to the florist's house, where we gave them to her to set up (and got a sneak peek at the flowers)

-I went out to dinner with my fiance, my awesome fam and my awesome almost fam

-I showered at night, because I wasn't planning on doing it in the morning--too early

-I checked all my bags again to be absolutely certain I had the plane tickets, my cell phone, my wallet, Chris's ring, perfume, my pills, jewelry . . .

-I kissed Chris good night and went to sleep with Char

-I spent the last night I've had away from him for one whole year

-Happy Anniversary to us
