Birthday Chris

In honor of Christoph's 28th birthday, here are 28 pictures that illustrate 28 things I love about this boy. Sorry it's just a big long line. I couldn't make them be side by side. I'm not very good at things like that.



1. At the beach his favorite thing to do is look for wildlife.





2. He is hard-working.




3. His favorite part of Halloween is our competition over whose jack-o-lantern is the scariest.




4. He is handsome. Also he likes the merry-go-round.




5. Sometimes his eyes are bigger than his stomach.




6. He can karate kick a cardboard box and put a hole in it.




7. While not a fan of modern art himself, he is tolerant and patient for the woman he loves, who does love modern art.




8. For his birthday he wants to do things like go to the Natural History Museum.




9. If something is wrong with the car, he figures it out. Even if we're in Nevada.




10. He once looked like this for about 3 minutes before finishing the shave.




11. He takes me to do fun things like the full moon ski lift ride at Sundance.




12. He loves taking these pictures. We have dozens of them. Also he's wearing a fleece vest.




13. He sang his heart out with me and Sir Paul that night.




14. One time I signed him up for a 5K and didn't tell him. And he willingly woke up early, drove to Saratoga Springs, and ran 3 miles with me. And he hates running.




15. When we visit California he likes to take me to favorite spots from his childhood, like this Mexican restaurant.




16. He totally let me make fun of the Pharmacist Oath at his white coat ceremony.




17. He appreciates delicious food. And likes to get dessert.




18. He likes to find correlations to Lost in every day life.




19. Ok, so I was actually going to talk about food for this picture. I forgot I chose 2 restaurant ones. So uh, he looks cute in button up shirts. Those broad shoulders are the best.




20. He is really good at Risk.




21. He is so strong. He can push over trees.




22. He dressed up as a chimney sweep to complement my costume.




23. If I say, "Make a crazy face!" and point a camera at him, he does it.




24. On Christmas Eve I was wrapping presents in the guest room, and he dragged our mattress out by the Christmas tree while I was unaware what he was doing. And then we slept out there in the living room, in our matching jammies, while we ate treats and watched Scrooged. It was so fun.




25. On our anniversary we made this fort together. Lots of you who know us would assume Chris would not be very enthusiastic about things like fort building. And you would be wrong.




26. His hair does really crazy things after he wears a beanie and he lets me take pictures of it.



27. One time we went to KFC and realized everyone there was fat. And not like normal fat, but like HUGE. So he had me take a picture of him being a big huge KFC guy.




28. For our wedding I gave him matching jammies. He is on my shirt, and I am on his. And he loved it. This is on our honeymoon. We had been married for like 48 hours. And I totally love him more now than I did then. I can't believe I'm using that dumb cliche, but I really, really do. Happy birthday Chris. I hope you read this.
