-Does any missionary NOT have a picture of them pretending to teach a statue? I really love those pictures, and even though I've seen dozens of them, I always think they are funny. The earnest elder stretching out a Book of Mormon to a non-responsive bronze is hilarious always.
-30 Rock last night. There was a moment when Liz walked into Jack's office with a problem, and he told her he needed to refer to his NBC priorities pie chart – 70% of the chart was taken up by The Biggest Loser, 29% was taken up by "Bringing 1997 Back Through Science or Magic," and 1% was taken up by "Everything Else." It was so funny.
-And yes, I did plan my gym outing with when 30 Rock was on. Bam! Killed 2 birds. Watched a funny show AND burned calories.
-But does the calorie burning get canceled out if you eat a cookie on your way out the door TO the gym, and go to the grocery store after and get a sucker at the cash register, and then eat another cookie when you get home? That's in addition to the 3 cookies you ate before walking out the door. I guess we'll never know. Science is a mystery.
-Did anyone else throw out their Christmas tree on Tuesday, but has yet to move back the chair that occupies that space, or vacuum up the pine needles, or put away the box of ornaments that is sitting on the living room floor? Oh, everyone else did that too? Great! We are all lazy friends.
-Have I already mentioned on here that I have SAL? It's an awful disease. For those of you not familiar with that acronym, that's Seasonal Affective Laziness. It makes me want to curl up in a ball and be warm and never do anything productive from the first snowfall to March 1st.
-We've seriously been married for 3 years? That is a LONG time. And check this out--we met when I was 20. I'm 25 now! WHAT? I was out to lunch with some peeps a few weeks ago, both of whom are single, and we were talking about dating and such, and I was like, man, I haven't been on like an awkward first date in so long. The last time I went on a date with not Chris would have to be sometime in the summer of 2006. That was a long time ago! We went on our first date in August 2006. So, yeah. Crazy talk. That was nearly 5 years ago.
-Having a sick husband is difficult. Some of you might think it's difficult because you feel bad for them and you want to take care of them but you still have to go to work. But if you think that, then you don't know me very well. I am SO bad at being nice to Chris when he is sick. Ok, I'm not SO bad. I'm good at it for a few days. But here's the thing. When I'm sick, the entire duration of my illness is a few days. Chris gets sick for WEEKS. I am not kidding you, that boy coughed through every day of February 2010. Anyway, I was really nice to him last Sunday, and a couple of other days, but since then, I'm just not that sympathetic. It's not that I'm mean. I'm just not overly kind. Last night was rough. I imagine it's what it would be like to have a newborn baby, except instead of getting up and feeding them you just lay there and think, "So . . . when is that going to stop? I'm trying to sleep." So, the point is, I'm tired because I had a night of very interrupted sleep by Hacky McHackerson sleeping next to me. (And yes, I do feel bad for Chris that he was coughing all night. I'm not a total jerk. But let's be honest, it does get annoying when you're perfectly well.) (And yes, I also feel bad for him that he has to get up and go to work all day today. That's really not fun when you're sick.) (So maybe I am sort of nice.) (Also I love parentheses.)
-Really I am in love with Chris. Don't think I'm a jerkface. Please.
-On our anniversary I was going to post a bunch of wedding pics, because I've done that before. But . . . I didn't really feel like it. (See the section about SAL.) So here's the one I posted last year. Yay for anniversaries!

Oh you crack me up! A few thoughts:
-HA! I am unsympathetic to sick people in general, so heaven help us all if someone I know gets seriously diseased. It's so rude of me!
-You are so old, you have been married for so long. I think married for three years is kind of like being single for 25 years... equally old-sounding but not equally enjoyable I'm sure.
-Planning workouts around what is on tv is the best thing ever. Last night I was able to endure for an hour and a half between Big Bang Theory, American Idol and the Office... most of it.
-I love cookies.
I'm not going to lie, at first I thought you said "thoughtsticles" and the reference alarmed me. I hope you get my drift.
I think I catch your drift. If so, I did NOT say that.
