Our Love Part III, wherein the lovers date

This week was the anniversary of our first kiss. In honor of the occasion, I am writing the really long version of our love. Parts I and II are below, feel free to check them out too.

Fall semester was amazing, except for our grades. We stayed up really late and hung out with all the friends, and just had fun. In between fall and winter, he went home for Christmas, and we talked on the phone a LOT. We were only apart for a few days though, because then we went on a trip to go to Teenwhiz and Dale’s wedding in Fresno, and Rob and Allie’s wedding in New Mexico/Mexico. Me, Chris, Shelly, Ray, and Collin were in the car together for many, many hours. And it was a fun trip, but sometimes we talk about how me and Shelly were just really bugged with all the boys. But it was fun.

Winter semester, 2007 was great too. We just kept getting closer and closer. I made him a cute little scrapbook for Valentine’s Day of pictures of us, and I almost wrote in the book that I loved him, but I wasn’t sure I was ready for that.
Long term plans started to be made. Shelly, Kiley and I found an apartment at Monticello for the next year. (I loved that apartment. Huge kitchen and living room, big windows, $270 for a private room, and I could go from sleeping to sitting in my desk at work at the Testing Center in 4 minutes. Seriously.) I was going on study abroad to Europe for Spring Term, and then plans were made for Char and I to go to Ecuador for a month in July.

I don’t remember exactly when Chris told me he loved me. I think it was in March sometime. But I remember that I loved him too. And it was just simple and natural. I didn’t have a big moment or anything, I just really really loved him.

On a birthday date, December 2006. We went to the Festival of Lights in Springville.

At Temple Square, also December 2006. More Christmas lights!

The snowman we built after the huge ward-wide snowball fight in the Courtyard.

Collin, Erin and Chris. On our wedding road trip. It looks like I was still pretty happy with both of them at this point. But as I said above, that would change.

Ray, Shelly, Collin, Erin, Chris, and . . . WHAT? Who is that little girl? I promise we didn't kidnap anyone! And I seriously didn't notice her until I started typing this caption, because in the thumbnail she was too small! Shelly, do you remember that?

We went to TW and Dale's wedding! Bryan, Shelly, Collin, Dale, TW, Erin, Chris, Ray, Diana. Cuties.

And Rob and Allie's wedding! We went to all the weddings!

At the Semi-annual Black and White party, October 2006.

Before I left on study abroad, we went to Color me Mine together. We decorated mugs for each other, and I took mine with me to Europe, and Chris took his with him to Provo.

My first visit in my life to Chris's favorite restaurant. For reals.

Just being cute. I got a new camera and we were testing it out.

Saved by the Bell party at my apartment, September 2006.

At Rob and Allie's wedding with his girlfriends. (We really did used to say that all of us were Chris's girlfriends, because he would do girlfriend things for Katie and Shelly too, like carry stuff amd stuff like that.)

At the tumbling gym, March 2007 I think.

Tune in next time to read about how I thought I was Sabrina . . . . .
