I can't explain why. I just LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I have even blogged about it before, and I'm about to do it again.

There is literally not a single second of this video that doesn't make me giddy with joy. It stands alone for me as the best music video to EVER be made. It is matchless in its perfection.
And there's the added bonus of the memories it holds for me--the first time I was introduced to this video was back at the RSC. I think it was Stan, or possibly Phil who showed it to us, and all of our lives were changed forever. By Steve Perry's pants.

Wow.
Also, I would like to inform you that the word verification is "repood." Yep.
Ha! Erin, you crack me up. That was so funny! I love the keyboard on the wall, oh, and that girl's hair. I need a haircut...wouldn't this look great?
I love Shellys word veification. HHAHAH. Also, I have the Journey CD in my car (spencer doesnt like it that much) I have never seen the music video so now I am glad I will always have this visual when this song comes on.
well Faithfully is one of James' and my songs. and that music video is amazing as well...
but NOTHING compared to this gem. seriously, it makes me so happy. sheer joy. is that how you spell sheer?
i want her outfit. badly.
um also...can you even imagine being that lady? she has to keep a straight face through all of that...seriously!!? I would die laughing everytime. She is a fantastic actress. ;o)
i comment a lot - sorry.
last night we had some peeps over, and we came to your blog to watch this video. James, Jay, and Casidy and I all laughed pretty much the entire time.
I second your testimonial. Steve Perry holds mega fascination for me. Liz and I have searched the wide web for all his music videos. We like to get transfixed by his voice, his shiny hair, his girlishness . . . No other video comes close to Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), and I too am glad it came wrapped in the gift of the RSC.
