Andrew and Brianna

I have a lot of cousins on my mom's side of the family. There are exactly 41 of us. Which means that, not counting my siblings, I have 36 cousins. (I'm sure a lot of you have more than 36, but Robisons are taller, so it seems like we have more.)

I love all my cousins, from the ones in medical school down to the ones still in elementary school.

However, I do have one family of cousins that I am particularly close to, which I think is due to our similar ages (like being born on the SAME DAY as my cousin Jon), and taking ballet under the tutelage of their mother, my aunt, as a child. We spent a lot of time over there when I was young. We'd go over for ballet and stay for the whole day.

I had so much fun playing with my cousins as a kid (and now, actually), their whole family is amazing. You know how there are some families just full of incredible stories and adventures? And everything they do is fun and funny? That's them. And some of my favorite memories with them include my cousin Andrew.

Andrew always had crazy ideas, like stuffing scarves and other dress-ups into a cardboard box, then having me or another kid get IN the box. Then he'd bounce us on the trampoline. It was SO fun. I think we also took rides down the stairs in the box.

I remember being at their house once, playing Monopoly for hours. Andrew had all the yellow and red houses, by Free Parking, and he called it Death Row. I thought that was so funny. He taught me the Monopoly trick I still use, to put $200 under the board to save for a rainy day.

Andrew was always fun. And always so nice and sweet.

The first time I met Brianna, which was on Thanksgiving a few years back, I knew for sure they would get married. She is just like Andrew, sweet and nice and fun. And sure enough, they did get married and they are the cutest couple ever. They are crazy about each other and so kind to each other all the time.

Andrew and Brianna moved to Colorado a couple of years ago, which is kind of a bummer for me because I don't get to see them as much, but they are happy and doing well. They are also trying to find a third member of their family. I know that probably most of the people reading my blog don't have babies they are trying to place in adoptive families, but I thought just maybe someone would know someone who could check them out.

I can't imagine a nicer, more loving home for a child to grow up in than this one. I am hoping they don't have to wait too long to become parents, because they will be amazing ones.

Erin...you are amazing! Thanks! Really...I loved seeing this blog post and reading it. I never knew about this box full of clothes on the trampoline. Sheesh. Anyway; again, thank you! I can't wait to show Andrew when he gets home. I hope it isn't a long wait either!
