Freshman Year: Vol. 2

Ok, it's time for the next installment of Freshman year pics!

Once upon a time there was a girl who live on our floor named Kaitlyn. She asked a boy in our ward to go to a dance with her, and this is how she got answered. Well, I'm assuming somewhere in this mess that was a yes. All I know is that it provided at least an hour or maybe two worth of fun for us.

So here they are, in no particular order,

Vol. 2--NEWSPAPER PICS

That's Kaitlyn on top in the yellow shirt. That lucky girl. If you can't tell, this is her dorm room. And I never knew it could be so full of stuff. We could jump off the beds, dive into the newspaper, and disappear. It was incredible. I'd never done anything like it, and I haven't since.

At one point we even started singing Newsies songs, on account of our dirty faces. Andrea led the way on that, and I remember Shelly laughing so much that Ann took charge of a group singing situation. That's not her usual way. But Ann is full of lots of surprises, so maybe we should have seen it coming.

Also, here is a video of us playing among the newsprint. We may or may not be singing "Seize the Day" in this video. But I'm not sure because I'm at the Harold B. Lee Library right now and the computers don't have speakers. So it's kind of like a surprise!
And, of course, even once the newspaper was bagged up, the fun was not over. We all had to pose with the bags. . . .

And then take a group picture or three looking like we're trying out for Les Mis or Oliver Twist.

Also, my hair is good.

i still can not believe my hair was so long and crazy. I love that day and I will not forget Shelly laughing at me.

Also, remember how hot or not deemed those garbage bags inappropriate?

This is amazingly hilarious. My favorite picture is Shelley with the garbage bag. She looks dead and homeless.

Hilarious! However, it makes me want to shower and put lotion all over my body. I hate how newspaper feels.

You guys, I remember that time when Andrea led us in our Newsies singing and yes, it is still funny to me. I wish we could do it again.
