The keystone of the Religious Studies Center

I hope you all know by now how much I love my job.

Wouldn't you love to work somewhere where this happened?

We moved everything in our offices a few weeks ago, so the boxes piled up and we connected them into an arch. It stayed up the entire day--impressive.

And if you look really closely, on the keystone box it says Book of Mormon.

The RSC is awesome.

The spirit of the RSC lives on! May I never take for granted that work was ever that fun. My eyes start tingling as I stroll down Memory Lane . . . Remember Sharkman's Feats of Strength? Good red pens are for editor's only? Charlotte's sign: "Open door slowly." SD's Mad Libs and amazing cartoons, like every last piece of Orson Hyde's body crying "It's true!" Where is that, BTW?

:) Having seen this gives me faith in the spirit of the RSC, as Lindsay called it. Thank you for sharing this. I am sooooo happy right now.

Oh my gosh!! I'm so jealous that I wasn't there for that. That looks so fun!!
I miss you guys so much! We're doing okay here. But I miss Provo people and the RSC a lot!
Aren't you graduating this semester?

What is it about the RSC?? When I started working there 8 and 1/2 years ago, that exact thing could have taken place any day. It's amazing. I think it must be the drinking fountain water right outside the door. Who knows? But it's a special place that only a privileged few have had the chance to experience. I consider myself lucky.

Linds, fear not. I still have the time capsule. Even in the HUGE move that just took place, I saved everything, and yes, SD's drawing of one-inch pieces of Orson Hyde is in there.

You know what I think is really funny/ironic? In Book of Mormon classes when they talk about how it is the keystone, they talk about how if you were to take out the keystone, the whole thing would crumble! ..... when in reality, if you took out any one of them it would crumble, not just the keystone ... just funny I thought (though I often play devil's advocate in sunday school, at least in my own thoughts :) which is why I have been called to be a sunday school teacher, to teach me a lesson i guess :) Love ya Erin!
