The most wonderful time of the year

Yesterday I had an art history class. It was lovely, we talked about Napoleon and his propaganda. I sure do love that guy.

When I left class, I had to walk outside. And when I did, I felt the strangest, most wonderful thing.

It was COLD. Only a little bit, and only for a moment, but I was SO excited I wanted to run home and put on tights and a sweater and roll around in the fallen leaves.

Obviously I didn't do that, only because there are no fallen leaves, but when they come--oh boy.

Here are some pretty fall pictures from google. Enjoy.

The last one is definitely the best. Check out that guy in the hat. The website said something about stereotypical Vermonters, but I wasn't interested enough to read it beyond that.

I think that stereotypical Vermonter is actually clothes that are stuffed with a hat on the top, also known as a scarecrow.

I love this time of year too because usually i buy lots of jackets and sweaters ... but we are saving for a home right now which = no extra spending at all. :o( The only sweatshirts I have that fit me are my stupid PHS ones. sheeeesh. my sister "inherited" (stole) my only cute AE sweatshirt. sad day.

random: my brother in law, Ben Morrise, is color blind. Emily wanted to go drive up the canyon and look at leaves and so he did. the whole time he was bored to death. then it Emily that he can't even see all the pretty colors. THAT is sad. Fall is beautiful!

anytime you ever feel jealous that i live in hawaii, just remember that there is no such thing as "fall" here. that means no changing colors or crunchy leaves. just lots and lots of coconut trees.

there are pros and cons to any place. still, i think i prefer hawaii. :)

The cutest blog on the block. It's very fun. Took me a while to narrow it down to one.

Oh the joys of fall! I am so excited! I have already decided what I am going to wear when me and Tyler get our pictures taken in the newly turned leaves!
